Clark's Trading Post is a visitor attraction in the White Mountains. It is known for its trained bears and for the White Mountain Central Railroad.
The Flume is a natural gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. The boardwalk allows you to look closely at the growth of flowers, ferns and mosses.

21 miles from house. 3 peaks, 61 trails, terrain parks, 2100 foot vertical drop.
29 miles from the house. 81 trails and glades. Fantastic views. Aerial tramway located here.
Located 23 miles from the house, dartmouth skiway is the base of the dartmouth college ski teams and has 2 mountains with runs for all abilities.
Just a couple of minutes outside of our house, we have the NH Snowmobile Trail #5 which is excellent for cross-country skiing as well.

The ride up the jeep trail to Meader (Wachipauka) Pond in Warren is rated as moderate and at 1.6 miles you reach the scenic pond. For a local, more stenuous ride try the trail up Blueberry Mountain in Warren.
There is some wonderful, scenic flatwater paddling within 10 minutes of the house. You can also check out Out Back Kayak in Lincoln, NH for kayak tours if you’re looking for a more organized activity.
The closest area for rock climbing to us is located in the town of Rumney. It has been described as "the best sport climbing in the Northeast" thanks to its crags that are scattered across the side of Rattlesnake Mountain.
